Around the Ship - Atrium and Good Spirits Bar

The Coral Princess is a Panamax ship, built more slim line than the other ships in the fleet to enable its transit through the Panama Canal.  This in my opinion makes the atrium feel smaller than the sun and sea…  still beautiful with it’s glass lifts and décor.

The Atrium spans over more floors, but being a thinner ship, it does feel smaller the Sun Class ships

The glass lifts are always an elegant touch, and the feature in the middle I thought, "oh yeah that's nice".  It wasn't till someone said it represents the ship and the wake....

And yes, suddenly there was an "Ah haaa" moment.

On deck 5 you will find the Guest Services Desk and where you expect to find the Patisserie, you will find the Good Spirits bar….  A lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink or two with friends.   But it does become my favourite bar after 5pm when they start serving their delicious specialty Cocktails.  At this stage my go to is Apples Delight followed by the Sandia en Fuego

Good Spirits Menu Available after 5pm each night

Apples Delight
Sandia en Fuego

They did hold the traditional Champagne Waterfall here, and even though it was never referred to as the Captain's Welcome party, a few officers were introduced and the Captain Diego Perra made a small speech.

With the wonderful Joachim
